What could be this thing moving in and out of the bonfire? Is this true? Or could this be just a camera trick! On November 28, 2009 at past 7 pm, the Philippines Sunbeam Children’s Ministry (PSCMI) conducted a Sunbeam Bonfire in relation to their National Values Formation and Leadership Training Youth Camp held in Mahayag, San Miguel in the island of Bohol. There were around 70 Sunbeam Campers who were high school students of Mahayag National High School and 14 Teen Counselors from Camambugan National High School in Ubay, Bohol. The PSCMI Mission Team conducted a drama prior to the bonfire. The drama relived the incident that happened in Mount Carmel where Elijah the prophet of God had a showdown with the false prophets of Baal. As the fire from heaven came down, Jomar Villas, who was taking the video of the proceedings, noticed a tiny fire quickly move from the pile of firewood to the opposit direction from where the fire from heaven was coming. As the fire touched the bundle of wood and set it ablaze, the tiny fire became visible as a smoke-like thing. It tried to evade the bonfire but was magnetized into the fire. It tried to escape moving to the right direction and Jomar followed the movement. After a few seconds, it returned to the fire and tried to escape to the other direction but it seems like a force coming from the bonfire was trying to suck the smoke like thing and eventually burn it in the fire. The physical appearance of the two fires are very different from each other. The bonfire is luminous symbolic of God’s fire which is a consuming fire. While the other fire was not luminous. Whatever it is that was seen during the Sunbeam Bonfire, it got burned in God’s consuming fire. Anything that displeases God is consumed in His consuming fire!
